Amaya Margarita Vinas is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who specializes in psychiatric mental health and family medicine. She obtained her bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing with highest honors at Miami Dade College. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and her Psychiatry Mental Health Certificate from Florida State University. She has more than 3 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in an outpatient setting and more than 5 years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting. She is a professional driven to provide culturally sensitive care, apply evidence-based practice to clinical decisions, and make a positive influence on the health of the community.
