Biografía

Christel McGillicuddy is a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Endocrine Surgery at the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She earned her graduate nursing degree from Barry University and specializes in the evaluation and management of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive neck ultrasound for the evaluation of thyroid nodules and cervical lymph nodes, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy for the diagnosis of thyroid disease, and radiofrequency ablation (RFA), a minimally invasive treatment for select thyroid nodules. She has a particular interest in advanced ultrasound-guided procedures and minimally invasive therapies for thyroid disease.
