Christopher Dilan Naranjo, DO

Dr. Naranjo is an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Katz Family Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where his expertise and dedication significantly contribute to the institution's outstanding reputation. He obtained his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. Dr. Naranjo completed his residency in internal medicine at Broward Health Medical Center in 2022 and he completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2024. Dr. Naranjo has cultivated a specialized skill set in point-of-care ultrasound, and is seeking certification by the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. He completed the inaugural Home Dialysis Scholarship Program offered by the American Society of Nephrology and Home Dialysis University, reflecting his dedication to enhancing patient care through innovative home-based therapies. At the University of Miami, Dr. Naranjo serves with distinction at the ADPKD clinic, a facility recognized as a PKD Center of Excellence. His research and clinical interests are deeply rooted in the application of point-of-care ultrasound, the management of polycystic kidney disease, and the development and optimization of home renal replacement therapy.
