Biografía

David Weininger Cohen, MD, is a non-invasive cardiologist at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, specializing in preventive cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College.

Before his fellowship, Dr. Weininger Cohen finished his Internal Medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside/West Hospitals in New York City, where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident for an additional year. A native of Venezuela, he earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.

Dr. Weininger Cohen is passionate about medical education and completed the Medical Education track during his residency, honing his teaching skills and developing innovative ways to engage with medical students, residents, and patients. He is deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care, addressing healthcare disparities, and promoting cultural competency in medicine.

Dr. Weininger Cohen is fluent in Spanish.
