The pain fellow did not place the surgical drape with a hole in it. Sorry I don’t know what it’s called. As a result, the fluid dripped on my abdomen and stained my shirt. This is the second time in a row (or maybe 2 out of 3) this happened.

Apparently my condition is quite complex and no one can really explain just what is going on. This is not a complaint of the excellent physicians. But truly, no one knows. Dr. Patin did a good job of thinking up analogies on the spot to provide context for me to relate to my condition.And since we are essentially treating the symptoms, since we don't fully understand or even have access to the underlying cause, We call it success if we can make the pain manageable. I can be happy with that..
