Biografía
Dr. Dominique Bohorquez was born in Cartagena, Colombia and emigrated to the United States at a young age. She graduated summa cum laude and with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. She then completed medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 and was awarded the Center of Excellence of Diversity in Health Education and Research Grant in 2017 for her work on surgical health disparities. She completed her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital where she won the annual University of Miami Department of Otolaryngology Chandler Research Symposium in 2022 for her research in tumor-associated fibroblasts in vestibular schwannomas. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Her clinical interests include general and pediatric otolaryngology.
