Isabella Castrillon, APRN

Gastroenterology/Hepatology

Isabella Castrillon is a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Digestive Health and Liver Diseases at the University of Miami. She specializes in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She received both her Bachelor’s in Nursing and Master’s of Science in Nursing at Barry University in Miami, Florida. She received her board certification for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Isabella is a Miami native and Cuban-American. She is passionate about providing a combination of holistic and scientific approach to treatment, teaching and helping her patients reach their individualized and realistic health goals. Isabella also uses a team approach and collaborates with the Digestive Health team to help her patients in the best way possible.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Isabella was an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse for many years at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Broward Health Medical Center and Jupiter Medical Center. Prior to joining the University of Miami team Isabella worked as a nurse practitioner at a Gastroenterology and Hepatology private practice office in Jupiter, Fl.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, listening to music and traveling.
