Biografía
Joel Hernandez MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of diverse clinical and academic experience. He currently serves as a provider with the plastic surgery team at the University of Miami's Sole Mia Campus, where he delivers comprehensive care across the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative continuum. Mr. Hernandez earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Florida International University graduating magna cum laude. With prior academic and clinical experience supporting simulation-based education for medical trainees and residents. His prior clinical roles include managing acute surgical patients at a Level I trauma center and ABA-verified burn center. He has extensive experience in wound care, perioperative management, procedural assistance, and advanced clinical decision-making. Mr. Hernandez is fluent in Spanish and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Doctor Arturo Jesus Rios Diaz is amazing I highly recommend him. I am so grateful to have been a patient of his. Also, APRN Joel Hernandez is just as awesome as Dr. Rios Diaz I am so happy to have been loved under his care without Rios Diaz was out of office.I appreciate them both and their amazing nursing staff Sari you are AWESOME and so HELPFUL. THANK YOU ALL!
