Biografía
Lydia A. Fein, MD MPH, is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Fein graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelors in Science and then earned her doctorate and Masters in Public Health from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Fein’s primary clinical focus is on gender-affirming care. She currently leads the transgender health program within her department, where she specializes in the medical care of gender diverse patients.
Dr. Fein is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). She conducts research in the field of gender-affirming medicine and has presented her work at national and international meetings as well as written book chapters and articles published in leading medical journals.
Dr. Fein’s also offers a wide range of care in obstetrics and gynecology, including minimally invasive surgery and prenatal care. Dr. Fein is a proud LGBTQ ally and welcomes all patients to her practice.

Dr. Fein is good provider. I'm a transgender female getting hormones from doctor fine. I get my labs she writes the prescriptions. We discussed things related to my GAHC. ALL GOOD. That's about it. Nothing else for transgender people going on

I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Fein. She performed an emergency surgery on me due to a rare obstetrical condition, and her expertise was evident. I had a remarkably quick and smooth recovery, and the scar is almost invisible! Beyond her surgical skill, she has a wonderful bedside manner and always manages my anxiety related to reproductive health with compassion and understanding. She is truly amazing!
