I was asked three times about the medicines I was taking: once for the pre-check, once by the doctor’s assistant and again by the doctor. Your precheck asks us to confirm the list of medicines. That should be enough. Going down the same list multiple times is a waste of everyone’s time

Unfortunately words cannot describe how absolutely magnificent Dr. Asdaghi is and has been since my first New Patient Visit. She is absolutely a Genius, an truly one of a kind brilliant mind. Which coupled with her bedside manner and genuine caring for each of her patients. She has remained focused and present at times of great stress and unknown uncharted territory. An amazing sense of intuition, and very present in the moment, awareness with mystifying recall and memory of even the smallest detail in complex cases like mine. Dr. Asdaghi has to get the majority of the credit for saving my life, while I was on a fast track to the end of life she supported my crazy notion that I will survive. Some specialists were throwing in their cards and recommending Hospice, while Dr. Asdaghi was evaluating the options, studying the data and making great recommendations while delivering them with surreal true caring and a drive to truly do everything she could to involve me, answer my concerns and questions, and support my decisions without a doubt in her mind that together we would fight and survive. Dr Asdaghi truly deserves whatever is the highest award that University of Miami bestows on only those having achieved absolutely awe inspiring selfless dedication to the University, her students, her patients, the pursuit of research and betterment of the craft of Medicine and one dynamic amazing human that has a deep caring and drive to do all that she can to help people get better, improve medicine, develop great doctors, and better the University.
