She completed her most recent fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery in 2024 at Medstar Health - Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and previously trained at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2023, also in Foot & Ankle Surgery. Her commitment to advancing orthopedic research was enhanced during her 2022 Research Fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopaedic Care (BHOC) in Coral Gables, Florida. Dr. Rodriguez-Materon’s foundational orthopedic residency was completed at the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2019. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de La Sabana in 2012, where she also developed a focus on Public Health. These experiences across the U.S. and Latin America have enriched her understanding of diverse patient populations and healthcare systems, allowing her to adapt treatments that meet the unique needs of each patient.
