Biografía
Dr. Ioannou received her medical degree, completed her internal medicine internship and residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She spent her last year of her Gastroenterology Fellowship focusing on Inflammatory Bowel Disease, seeing patients in a specialized clinic. Dr. Ioannou will focus her clinical practice and research on inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis) on the main medical campus in the Crohn’s and Colitis Center, in UMHC.

Dr. Ioannou is the kindest doctor I have ever been to. She treats the whole patient. She started my appointment asking me questions about my experiences in life between the time I last saw her and now, and I had quite a lot to talk about. I never felt rushed or unheard. She made sure all my questions were answered and explained what I could expect to happen with my medical care in the near future. I love this doctor. I definitely recommend Dr. Ioannau to anyone.

My visit with Stephanie Ioannou was amazing and has given me and my family a sense of hope in finding a solution for my Crohns, after what feels like being passed around in the medical field. She was extremely knowledgeable and explain everything to my family and I. She also handled everything with a sense of urgency which makes me feel like I’m in good hands. The staff was also very sweet and made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed
